Our experienced Western veterinarian is offering a free advice service on line.
Perhaps you’re not sure if you should go to the vet about something or if you don’t understand what your vet has told you, perhaps you would like to check for a second opinion. Well now you can askthevet@openpaws.org.
Just remember that often animals need to be physically examined for the vet to see exactly what is wrong. And most importantly, if your pet is really ill you should take them to your vet straight away – don’t wait for an email reply. At this time we don't have a veterinary practice open to the public but we hope we can offer good guidence and information for pet owners who are concerned.
There are plenty of other good resources on the internet. If you want to look into a disease your pet have been diagnosed with, want to check up on medications or need help with behaviour or training - it can all be found on line!
We've had a look and listed some of the sites we think are reliable and helpful on our Resources Page. Why not take a look? - you might learn something new too.
